Welcome

Julia is a Life Coach leveraging internal family systems, mindfulness and somatic perspectives to help clients develop balance, stability, and healing relationships.

Julia specializes in guiding individuals through pivotal moments, particularly during relationship and career transitions. Whether you're navigating a shift in your personal or professional path, or craving a more purposeful direction, the collaborative process with Julia aims to bring clarity, resilience, and transformative strategies to your life.

Professional Background

Julia specializes in adult identity development, major life transitions and career development with a special interest in relationships. Julia recognizes the investment you are making- both with your time and finances. Her care for you extends outside of the dedicated weekly hour by reflecting on your session, immersing herself in continued professional trainings and both individual and group supervision.

Julia loves the work that she does and the opportunity to help you in your process. Julia is known for forming strong connections with individuals who are disinclined to trust—who may even doubt the utility of asking for help—and who are well-practiced at (yet also tired of) taking everything on themselves. She works with each client to understand the unique conditions they need in order to experience the presence and restoration of non-vigilance.

Julia holds a Master’s of Mental Health Counseling from New York University, a bachelor's degree in Business from George Washington University, and is clinically certified in Holistic Health and Nutrition from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Julia brings a holistic approach to help you navigate challenges, reshape your narrative and achieve a harmonious balance between professional success and personal fulfillment.

Having navigated the corporate and start-up landscapes, including roles in Fortune 500 companies, Julia grasps the challenges of balancing career ambitions with personal aspirations. Coaching sessions extend beyond traditional success, delving into the opportunity to craft a fulfilling professional life that aligns seamlessly with your personal goals.

Julia’s diverse background allows her to not only empathize with your challenges, but to also offer sustainable guidance.

FAQs

  • Contact me via the form (scroll down) to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation. This call is an opportunity for me to understand the type of support you need and for you to get a better sense if you would like to work with me. If we both agree that we are a good match, we proceed by discussing additional details, such as scheduling, payment, and paperwork, prior to our first session.

  • Great question- choosing coaching over therapy reflects a deliberate alignment with one’s intent: to build upon existing strengths and chart a course toward defined objectives, rather than to redress past wounds or stabilize mental health. It is a choice of empowerment through action—provided the individual is prepared to engage actively, best suited for those poised to architect their future with clarity and purpose, delivering targeted interventions that yield tangible progress swiftly.

  • Our appointments are scheduled for a weekly basis, and once we mutually agree on a session time, that specific time slot will be exclusively reserved for you.

  • After we agree to move forward working together, we will discuss what success means to you in coaching, which can vary depending on the individual. Generally, my approach involves working with individuals and couples for an extended period as sustained transformation requires time.

  • At this time, I offer telehealth sessions.

  • Yes, video sessions can be just as effective as in-person, as long as it is conducted by a qualified mental health professional, and the client has a stable internet connection and access to a private and quiet space.
